The waves of the ocean rolled and splashed against the rocks on the shore, spraying a young girl's feet. She was sitting on the very edge of the island, the ocean a swift four foot fall down, her feet dangling over the edge. A Pidgey sat on her head, cooing as water splashed it's bill. "Aw, Lily, you're okay. It's just a little water." The girl said, throwing a pebble into the waves. Her Pidgey just cooed and shook it's head.
Jennifer was a 14 year old girl, one of the many people that inhabited Moon Fall. It was a peaceful island, known for it's monthly meteor showers. Jennifer liked living here, it was peaceful even when tourists came. Moon Fall was a mysterious Island, something many tourists pointed out when they came. Many pokemon roamed the island, but each kind liked a certain spot. The fire types chose the area around that surrounded the volcano, water chose the waterfall and lake area. Electric chose the storm fields, dark types the thick forests. Psychic chose the bright fields and sweet fruit trees, while grass types chose the forests with less fruit trees and fields with tall grass. Bug types chose the flower fields, and normal types chose the simpler fields and forests. The rest of the pokemon chose the beaches and palm trees.
Jennifer lived in the normal part of town, as the tourists called it, where she had met her Pidgey. Sitting by the sea with Lily was a daily routine for her, it was where she had met her. "Hay, Lily. When do you think mom will get home?" She asked and Lily shook her head to show she wasn't sure.
Her mother had left home three days ago. "Jenny, I'm going to the Flower Fields today. There are some pollens I need to collect." She had said before she left. Jennifer's mother was an Aromatherapist and she got all her scents from the Flower Fields. Jennifer stood and headed back for her house. "How about we wait for her to get home. She should be home by tomorrow." She stated and Lily flew on ahead.

It was midnight when the earthquake started. Jennifer was awoken by the screeching of Lily just in time for the first quakes. Grabbing her poke balls and calling for Lily, she hid under her bed, holding onto Lily for comfort. Just then the large quake started and fear began to fill her every being. "Mommy! Mommy, where are you?!" The quakes went on for hours, and Jennifer knew her house was gone. She didn't dare leave her shelter until she could see sun through the cracks of the destroyed house that surrounded her. She clawed her way out, Lily helping her to move the heavier boards, tears streaming from her eyes. "Mom?" She croaked, her voice gone from her screaming. Her eyes stung when the light hit them, taking some time for her to see what had happened. The village was destroyed, the other people wandering in disbelief and shock. What had happened? Where was the rest of the Island? Where was the giant volcano, the the other forests? Jennifer found a woman sitting on the ground. She knew this woman, it was Maria. She worked with her mother.
"Maria?" The woman looked up, her cheeks streaked with tears. "What happened, and where is my mom?" Maria shook her head and fresh tears filled her eyes.
"The earthquake split Moon Fall into eleven islands, Jennifer. Your mother was still at the Flower Fields when it started. She's on a different fragment, Jenny. I'm so sorry." Maria buried her face in her hands and Jennifer fell to her knees. Her mother was now miles away. She might never see her again.
----------------------------------------
Fifty years have passed since the great Hakai split Moon Fall into eleven islands. However, none were chosen as the main island. Some had decided all the Islands would be the main Isle, but a few disagreed. Three Isles, Volcano, Waterfall, and Storm, thought they each should be the main. Volcano Island thought Fire Pokemon were the greater types, therefore, their Island should be the main. Waterfall thought water types greater, and Storm thought electric types greater. Since then, a constant war between the three Islands raged creating great havoc on all of Moon Fall, each Island trying to prove their types were the best. Tourists came less and less for the seas were dangerous, and those that came stayed inside from the constant storms caused by these great battles.
Each believes they should be the top while the rest stand behind and ignore the troubles.
Fire, Water, and Electric in constant battle, elements clashing.
Which side will you choose?
Fire?
Water?
Electric?
Or are you a watcher, only standing by to watch the great battles?
Where do you stand in the Elemental Storms?
